64% of people said Christmas is the holiday they’re most likely to text or call their loved ones
Sleigh bells weren’t the only thing jingling this past holiday season – so were our phones! We’re hardly ever without them, but during Christmastime, our phones play an even more important role in keeping us connected with family and friends.
We recently asked our 70+ million users about their phone usage during the holidays to better understand how they stay in touch with the people who matter most, and thanks to your participation, we learned just how critical Christmas communication truly is. So much so, nearly 47% of people said Christmas would be ruined if they didn’t have access to their phones!
Check out a few other fascinating findings:
- More than 75% of respondents are more likely to send texts and make calls on a holiday as opposed to an average day
- 81% of respondents said that their phone makes them feel more connected to family and friends over the holidays
