We are looking for an experienced UI Designer who will play a key role in designing the visual experience of textPlus (iOS & Android) as well as other products. Someone who is a highly collaborative and is interested in developing a top tier social mobile messaging application. You must be a problem solver at heart, detail oriented, and have a passion for creating innovative user-focused designs.
Responsibilities:
- Help define and lead user-centered design for textPlus iOS, Android and web applications and future projects
- Create visually stunning UI Designs
Requirements:
- Previous experience with iOS, Android and Web application design
- An eye for detail and the patience and guidance to see your design from beginning to end
- Ability to to work closely with other designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing to develop new features and functionality
- A strong portfolio which shows strong interface design, web design, and mobile design
- Able to produce high quality visuals in Photoshop, Fireworks and/or Illustrator
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of CSS3 & HTML5
- Knowledge of Javascript and/or Javascript Frameworks such as JQuery, Prototype and/or Moo Tools
- Experience with the iPhone SDK & iPhone UI Kit
- Experience with Android SDK
