Yesterday, we celebrated textPlus turning three. Even though I have only been with the company for a year, it’s still amazing to me how much we have grown and how much fun we’ve had together.
It’s amazing to think that textPlus started out in the garage of one of our founders. Our CEO, Scott Lahman, told me yesterday that they flipped the switch on textPlus late May 31, 2009 and waited to see it go live.
And boy, is textPlus alive! Team textPlus celebrated our third birthday yesterday with delicious tacos, yummy cake, and of course shiny balloons. In our silly textPlus style, we partied just like three year olds.
Funny birthday hats graced our noggins and fashion sense.
Balloons lined our office.
Tacos filled our bellies.
And of course, we had tons of cake! But instead of shoving cake in our faces, like a three year old, we ate the faces of our founders- Austin, Zach, and Scott. My, how they have grown!
I even had the honor of going zombie on my cake and devoured the piece with Zack’s lovely mug on it.
To protect himself from the zombie invasion, Scott decided to eat his own face.
However, there was one thing missing from our party- you- our awesome textPlusers!
