Today, I’m excited to share with you our latest update and introduce the product team behind textPlus. We are a group of techies that love texting and want to bring you the best experience to keep you connected with your friends and family no matter where they are!
But first, I wanted to introduce myself. I recently joined textPlus to head up our product efforts -- in other words, I make sure that we make textPlus even more awesome for you. I love building products and have worked for other well-known tech companies including Yahoo, Fox, and Citysearch. When I met the team a few months ago, I was sold on how passionate and talented everyone was at the company, so joining such a vibrant community in textPlus was a no-brainer. Besides, it doesn’t hurt that I’m an avid texter.

Additionally, our product team -- which includes Erik, James, Joe, JJ, David, William and Henry -- has worked tirelessly along with our development team to bring you our latest update for iOS and Android.
So what have we been working on?
This latest update lets you bring your Facebook friends into your textPlus network. Now you can link your Facebook and textPlus accounts to discover friends that are already using textPlus. Plus, as you invite your friends, we’ll notify you when they join textPlus. Start texting your friends immediately with our new People Tab which lets you easily find friends on textPlus and message them instantly. Plus, all of your friends can be easily managed in one place right from your contacts list on textPlus.
Now that you have even more friends at your fingertips, why not send them a Voice Note? Yep, you now can record a 30 second message and send it to them in your regular conversation. If you want to give your thumbs a break, just hit that Clip icon to record a voice note. I’m sure there’s a thing or two you can tell them in 30 seconds...
We want to make sure textPlus continues to be the center of your social life - communicate with everyone however you want.
